Facebook has recently launched a standalone chat application Facebook Messenger for windows OS after releasing it for Android, BlackBerry and iPhone devices. Facebook Messenger lets you to chat with friends without opening Facebook in browser ,similar to Gtalk and Yahoo messenger but with some additional features. In the Facebook Messenger you can chat with your friends, see the live updates in ticker and get quick notifications. As of now this app doesn’t allow you to chat in group and make video calls to your friends.
